How to tape and assemble a moving box

We are a moving company based in San Francisco and today we gonna show you how to properly tape and assemble a moving box for safe transportation of your belongings. Most people do it wrong which leads to boxes falling apart during the moving process. So, in order to assemble the moving box, the first thing you need to do is turn it upside down and fold the smaller edges inside first, and then you gonna fold the larger edges inside. After that use tape to close it and make sure that cardboard edges connect with each other and leave no space in the middle. Put tape about 3 to 5 inches down on the box. Another important thing to look for is the alignment of cardboard edges. They should make a perfect rectangle. Don’t forget to rub the tape into the box so it sticks properly. And then repeat the process on the other side. You can use scissors to cut the edges or any other sharp object (sometimes even a simple pen works). Most importantly the next step is to tape the box around for extra protection to increase the security of the tape that was sticked previously. We recommend not to skip this step because without it the tape may unstick under the heavyweight. The box is now ready for packing. After you finish with putting the stuff inside simply fold the smaller and then the larger edges inside and tape the longer side first and then the shorter side. Rub the tape a bit. Don’t forget to label the box for easier unpacking. Thanks for watching!
